Huset i Gäddvik - The House in Gäddvik

Innanför väggarna i ett hus i Gäddvik har Kerstin funnit motiv till en serie målningar. I detta hus har det alltid varit liv och rörelse. 

Många är de som har undrat varför det hänger en stol i taket i målningen På bostället. Detta är snällstolen... En annan intressant möbel är skänken på samma akvarell.

The interior walls of a house in the Northern Swedish village of Gäddvik inspired Kerstin to paint a series of watercolors. To Kerstin, it was apparent that the home was one always filled with life and activity.

Many have wondered and asked about a child’s chair hanging from a ceiling rafter in the painting På Bostället (In the Residence). It is called the kind chair. Another interesting piece of furniture in the same work is the side-board.
